A vision (well… sort of)
I’d love to say I received a grand vision in my dreams for the next step — but let’s be real, it wasn’t that hard to figure out a way that’s easier than folding paper: just glue it.
Sure, I had to introduce another external element to the equation, but honestly? The origami approach already needed cuts, and a pair of scissors was basically required anyway. So now I’ve decided to just embrace the glue and the scissors and stop pretending it’s all perfectly self-contained.
The question now is: how to approach this in a way that feels intentional and still playful? I admit I’m having mixed feelings about stepping away from the folding dream, but I stumbled across an online concept for an origami dice tower, and that sparked something.
I want to explore that idea further, see how I can fold (or glue) it into the Paper Knight experience. A paper knight needs a proper tower, after all.
Let’s see what I can come up with.
