A knight gets some style
Big win today: I got a friend on board to do some neat drawings and decals for the paper (shoutout to Carol!). Seeing the Paper Knight take shape with proper art instead of my rough placeholders is… honestly thrilling.
The little details, a plume here, a dented shield there, even patterns for the battlements, make the whole thing feel more alive. It’s still the same one-page game, but now it looks like something you’d want to fold, cut, and play with.
It’s amazing how a touch of art can lock in the theme and make the world feel real, even when it’s all just paper. I’m already thinking about how these visuals can also serve as subtle guides for cutting and folding, blending function with flair.
Our knight’s armor just got an upgrade.
